Mi abuela y su hermana gemela vivieron juntas los últimos veinte años de su vida. Durante dos años me propuse fotografiar su cotidianidad, sus rituales, el modo en que ambas conformaron el anverso y el reverso de una relación que las mantuvo en una suerte de simbiosis toda la vida.

My grandmother and her twin sister lived together during the last twenty years of their lives. For two years, I set out to photograph their daily lives, their rituals, the way both conformed the obverse and reverse of a relationship that kept them in a kind of lifelong symbiosis.
